Description

This lovely lady, designed by Nancy Hall, is sure to brighten your day!

The pattern for this gorgeous 19” bead-jointed doll is packed with wonderful beading techniques and so much more. Check out the wooden bead encased by seed beads that forms the knee. You’ll also learn how to fuse Angelina Fibers to make her skirt. Tons of step-by-step photos clearly detail every aspect of construction of this artfully beaded beauty.

There are complete beading instructions for embellishing her arms and legs and creating the beads for her knees and flowers for the top of her bodice. Paint her face using the step by step instructions included in the E-Pattern.

Find and use your brightest scraps of material for her arms, legs and body! Lisette's face, neck, and fingers are made from muslin or flesh colored knit fabric. She has articulated fingers, her knees will bend and she is able to sit. Her tutu is made from Angelina fiber and net, with leftover Angelina fiber used for the shoulder ruffles. Her face is hand colored using colored pencils, micron pens and a tiny bit of black and white acrylic paint. Dyed mohair or any type of yarn or fiber can be used for her hair. Feel free to embellish this doll to your hearts content!

Lisette is an intermediate pattern, but beginning doll makers using the step by step instructions should be able to complete this doll. Advanced doll makers can find many ways to embellish Lisette to make her a great addition to a collection, or a wonderful gift for a special person.

Lisette was the cover doll of the April 2010 edition of Doll Crafter and Costuming.

You may sell dolls made from this pattern if credit is given to the designer. But you may not mass produce the doll.
