Meri Xmas is an 18-inch (46 cm) fully figured, free standing, cloth doll with wire armatures and is posable in the arms to a certain extent. All pattern pieces can be reduced or enlarged in size using a photocopier.

The tutorial pattern features step-by-step photos, diagrams, and clear instructions. It includes 23 color pages and 10 black-and-white pages, offering patterns for two-piece clothing, undies, a hat, and glasses, along with construction advice.

The hands are not individual fingers making it easier and quicker to construct, and the feet are flat, with the intention of painting shoes or boots on.

The doll can be dressed in traditional attire or styled as a Red Hat Lady.
