Sea People, Mermaids Cloth Doll Pattern - PDF Download by Susan Barmore
The texture on the tails of this fantastic 6"x9" undersea family is made by gluing string to the stuffed bodies before painting and antiquing them.
These dolls are made using woven cotton fabric primed with gesso and then painted with acrylic paint.
Mom and Dad are 6" x 9" and the baby is 2" x 3".
The sea people are very folky and primitive in construction.
They are heavily antiqued and rough in appearance.
