With swirl wings and knotted tail, this 12" long dragon is inspired by the Celtic knotwork art from illuminated pages and stone markers.
This pattern features the face made as a mask with surface sculpting done with the 'trapunto' method of stuffing between 2 layers of fabric which is then fitted over the simpler head shape on the body piece.
