Paradise Fairy - Cloth Doll Pattern (Printed and Mailed) by Barb Keeling

This darling doll was designed by Doug & Barb Keeling for the Paradise Extravaganza doll challenge in Australia. She has all sorts of techniques that make her extra fun to make. Her body is made out of a hand dyed silk with a layer or "organza" over the silk. Then beads and other fun decorations are put in-between the two fabrics to create her embellishments. She has "glass slippers" that are beaded with the no sew bead. Her sleeves and pants are made from mohair which was put on with the felting needle.

Her extra long wired fingers have lovely nails done in two different colors. Her face pattern is included in the pattern. There is color face shading you can trace off if you want to. This will assure you of a perfect doll face. All in all she is a really fun & easy doll to make.
