Velveteen Rabbit Sewing Tutorial and Pattern (PDF Download) by Connie Hindmarsh

Velveteen was featured in an issue of PRIMS Magazine. The bunny is about 9” tall plus his ears and has a jointed head.

This tutorial is a 30 page book with large color photos on each page. Instructions take you step by step through the entire process of making a rabbit from laying out the pattern, to cutting, pinning, sewing, stuffing and sculpturing the rabbit.

Instructions include directions for lop ears or wired stand up ears that can be shaped in the cutest ways.

Full size patterns with seam allowances are included. Explanations and color photos guide you through the entire process.

Don’t like velveteen? Make your bunny from muslin, Osnaburgh or mohair. The bunny will be a good seller at craft shows. Make all you want for family and friends and sell some, too.

The tutorial was written and the pattern was designed by Connie Hindmarsh. Connie is a professional Teddy Bear, Hare and Folk Art Doll Designer. She has at least a dozen patterns on the market.
