Tulip is a beautiful 18 inch cloth flower fairy doll designed by Nancy Hall. This doll is dressed in a skirt made of beaded and wired petals with a bodice of applied embellished leaves. Use your brightest scraps of material and beads for her petal dress. Tulip's body is made from muslin with articulated and wired fingers. She is able to bend her knees and sit. Tulip's face is hand colored using colored pencils, watercolor pencils, pens and black and white acrylic paint. Any type of fiber can be used for her hair.
The 81 page e-pattern includes all the pattern pieces, and complete detailed instructions for making this lovely doll including photos of the steps. There are step by step instructions for beading and wiring the petals, painting and needle modeling the face and making the leaves.
Tulip is an intermediate pattern, but beginning doll makers using the step by step instructions, should be able to complete this doll. All levels of doll makers can find many ways to embellish Tulip and make her a wonderful addition to a collection or a very special gift.
You may sell dolls made from this pattern if credit is given to the designer. But you may not mass produce the doll.
