October Morn Cloth Doll E-class Pattern (PDF Download) by Cindee Moyer

On a chilly autumn morning, black birds make their rounds searching for their daily meal. Guarding her field, the figure acknowledges their presence but makes no move to scare them away. She rather likes the company.

In this class you will create and soft-sculpt your doll from fabric; use a reclaimed sweater and paper clay to add interest and 'friends'. Using a dowel and real twig, she hangs as any scarecrow would. Raffia 'hay' adds to the intent.
