Hazel and Maddy are the cutest kitties that make great holiday themed pincushions or decor.

Hazel, the gray cat, is sewn into a white felt pumpkin that is then sewn to a dotted fabric pumpkin that's attached to a metal pillar candle stand that is upside down. Hazel has her pet spider.

Maddy, the black cat is sewn into an orange felt pumpkin that is attached to the lid of a plastic jar. Her pet bat, Jimmy, is attached to the pumpkin. The jar can hold some holiday candy and makes a fun Halloween gift.

Both kitties can be made for any holiday by skipping the pointy hays and other Halloween themed items.

Please note that this pattern was designed to be sewn in felt. If you use some other fabric it will change how the cat looks and how the pattern pieces sew together. The seams are narrow so woven fabric that frays easily will NOT work for this pattern.

The directions have many color pictures, black and white drawings, and helpful hints.
